Dayton's Choice for Quality Fences and Decks
Experience local expertise that combines craftsmanship with integrity.
Build in the Off-Season
Most people wait until April to think about a fence or a deck, and then everyone's waiting. Our crew works all winter. Frozen ground and cold weather don't stop a fence post or a deck frame, and you'll be using your new deck or fence the first warm weekend instead of still shopping for a contractor.
We’re building more than just fences; we’re building trust.
As your local fence and deck experts, we also happen to be your neighbors. And we’re committed to serving you — our community — by providing Dayton homes and businesses with high-quality, custom fences. Our dedication to craftsmanship, community, and customer satisfaction sets us apart as the premier provider for all your fencing needs.

Questions? We've Got Answers
-
No. New wood fences and railings are left unfinished. Pressure-treated lumber needs 6 to 12 months to dry before stain will take, so plan to stain next season. We're happy to recommend a painter or stainer we trust. Vinyl, aluminum, and chain link never need finishing.
-
It depends on the city. If your project needs one, we take care of all of it: the permit, the inspections, and the utility marking. You don't call anybody.
-
We find it. Anything you can give us helps, especially a plat map from your closing paperwork, but locating the line is part of the job, not something you have to figure out first.
-
Yes. Our crew builds year-round.

Pressure-treated pine costs less and holds up well when it's stained. Cedar costs more, resists rot naturally, and looks better unstained. It's also a lighter wood, so it shrinks and warps less than treated pine, and the lighter pickets keep the 2x4 rails from sagging over time. For a privacy fence on a budget, treated. For a picket fence that holds its shape like the day it went in, cedar.
-
Composite costs more up front and never needs staining; wood costs less and needs sealing every few years. Composite boards go down with a hidden fastener system, so no screw heads on the surface. Wood boards get 3-inch wood screws, not nails, so nothing pops up later. See our wood vs composite blog post for the full comparison.

We're fully insured, and we'll send a certificate of insurance on request. Ohio doesn't require a license for fence or deck work, so there isn't one to show.
